ITHQ is always keen to celebrate the creativity and expertise of its graduates!
This spring, the Blanc bec will showcase a selection of agave spirits produced by Samuel Gaudette and Vanessa Cliche of Distillerie Comont graduates of the Restaurant Management and Tourism Management ITHQ programs respectively.
Paloma Blanco and Paloma, two ready-to-drink cocktails crafted with local ingredients, will be available for $8 a can.
About Distillerie Comont
After five months of travelling, 11 countries visited and some forty distilleries explored, the Comont dream was born. Samuel and Vanessa have learned their trade through travelling, observing, conversing and tasting: the ideal training for creating products that truly reflect their personalities.
Taking pride in their grain-to-bottle method, they craft spirits passionately blended from local ingredients.
Comont, first and foremost, is the embodiment of a dream: establishing an authentic distillery that remains faithful to tradition.
In September 2024, Diego Garcia Del Pino, also an ITHQ graduate, joined the team as production manager, thus completing this dynamic trio. This is a brilliant team achievement, just the kind we like at the ITHQ.
