Postgraduate accessibility scholarship – Applied Bachelor in Hospitality and Hotel Management

Scholarships of $10,000 to encourage people with a learning disability or impairment to pursue post-secondary education. 

Funder: Fondation de l’ITHQ thanks to a donation from the Fondation J.-A. De Sève

Eligible programs: Baccalauréat appliqué en gestion de l’accueil et de l’hôtellerie (Bilingual)

Application deadline: 

You must submit your bursary application when confirming your enrollment in the program.  

Conditions and criteria: 

  • Be a new student enrolled full-time in the Applied Bachelor in Hospitality and Hotel Management
  • Have a medical diagnosis of a learning disability or impairment (ADHD, dyslexia, dysphasia, dyscalculia or other condition) 

Notes:  

  • This bursary is open to all students, including students from outside Canada.   
  • Three bursaries will be awarded each year.  
  • The bursaries will be given to eligible applicants in the order that the applications are received. 
  • The amount of the bursary will be paid each session in proportion to the number of courses taken. 

Documents to submit:  

  • When confirming your registration, fill out the registration form for adapted services at the ITHQ’s student success centre (only staff members who deliver adapted services will have access to applicants’ medical information).   
  • After you submit the completed form, you will be contacted by the student success centre to confirm that you want to apply for this bursary.  
  • Recipients of the bursary will be contacted by the Fondation de l’ITHQ.
